Amanda Rauf, PsyD
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School specializing in child and family therapy. I have several years of clinical experience working with children and families from culturally-diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings such as hospitals, schools, and within the community. Among my areas of expertise are early childhood and behavioral difficulties, parent training, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I also specialize in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy.
My therapeutic style is interactive and engaging. I provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address childhood and family challenges. With compassion and understanding, I work collaboratively with each family to help them build on their strengths to overcome their current challenges.
Qualifications: Dr. Rauf is an attending psychologist at Boston Children's Hospital through the Optimal Weight for Life (OWL) program. She is also on staff at Harvard Medical school as a Clinical Instructor. She has been in practice in both the Boston and New York Metro areas for the past 5 years.
