Christy Nunes has worked with the staff and patients at Copernican Clincal Services since 2008. Her prior background in the health insurance industry and its interface with small businesses has allowed her to bring a high level of sophistication to CCS's billing program. Christy oversees the entire billing process and assures our patients and their families belief that all of their insurance-based options for reimbursement are being pursued in a timely manner. Christy also oversees Dr. Perna's entire clinical practice and helps faciliate communication with all relevant clinical parties, including co-treating clinical staff, state agencies, school personel, and primary care physicians. Her role as the adminsitrative information hub of Dr. Perna's practice allows him to focus his energy onto his clinical work, staff training, and periodic public speaking engagements.
