Clinical Tutoring:
Clinical Tutoring is a specialized approach to tutoring children, adolescents and young adults with learning challenges that addresses how learning/executive function issues impact a student’s overall behavioral health. Learning Issues Addressed:
Typical Interventions/Supports Include:
Psychological Testing: We review all prior psychological/neuropsychological and achievement testing as part of our assessment of every patient who receives Clinical Tutoring supports. If needed, we will either perform additional testing ourselves or refer you to one of our preferred testing partners to address additional learning questions/concerns. |
Holistic Learning:
Clinical tutoring is considered to be one of the many interventions that we utilize when approaching treatment from a holistic learning perspective. We see our patients as “whole beings” who need to receive treatment interventions that address the full range of their learning needs. Team Coordination: We help families integrate our learning assessment/supports into all aspects of their child's school work including IEP development/support and college disability support programs. We can help your team complete a comprehensive 504 plan if needed to support you or your child's learning needs. |
