Hannah Clark, PsyD
Staff MMT Clinician

Dr. Hannah Clark earned her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical and School Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY. Dr. Clark also received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, with a major in Applied Developmental Psychology and minors in Communication Studies and Leadership Studies.

Training Background
Before joining Copernican, Dr. Clark completed a post-doctoral clinical psychology fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Health Alliance, where she specialized in child and adolescent acute inpatient psychiatry. In this role, she provided individual and family therapy, led multiple therapeutic groups, conducted comprehensive psychological assessments, and collaborated closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams, schools, and community providers. Dr. Clark also received specialized training in autism assessment, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care while working with diverse youth and families.

Dr. Clark completed a predoctoral internship at Pilgrim Psychiatric Center in New York, where she provided evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy to adults with serious mental illness and complex clinical and forensic presentations. Her training emphasized Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R), and trauma-informed approaches in acute and long-term inpatient settings.

In addition to her hospital-based training, Dr. Clark completed extensive externships across inpatient, outpatient, school, and specialty medical settings, including community mental health clinics, acute adult psychiatric units, neuropsychological and rehabilitation services, and a multidisciplinary Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) diagnostic clinic. She also has significant experience working in school-based settings, where she provided assessment, counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services to children and adolescents.

Clinical Experience
Dr. Clark’s clinical experience spans the lifespan, with particular expertise in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults presenting with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, emotional dysregulation, serious mental illness, and complex psychosocial stressors. She utilizes an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions.

At Copernican Clinical Services, Dr. Clark provides individual, family, and group therapy, as well as psychological and neuropsychological assessment services. She is committed to collaborative, compassionate, and culturally responsive care, and strives to create a supportive therapeutic environment that helps clients build insight, resilience, and sustainable skills for long-term wellbeing.
