Jessie Zelle, LCSW
Licensed Certified Social Worker
Staff Multi-Modality Therapy (MMT) Clinician

Jessie Zelle is a Licensed Certified Social Worker who provides individual, couples, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She earned her Master of Clinical Social Work from Boston College, following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Nutrition from the University of Vermont.

Training Background
Jessie has developed extensive clinical experience across outpatient, hospital, residential, and school-based settings. Prior to joining Copernican, she completed a two-year clinical fellowship at The Pilowa Institute, where she specialized in couples therapy. She previously worked as a Primary Therapist and Group Therapist at Monte Nido’s Laurel Hill Residential Center, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and providing individual, family, and group therapy.
Jessie completed her graduate clinical internship in the Outpatient Psychiatry Department at Tufts Medical Center, where she provided individual therapy to clients across a wide range of ages, diagnoses, and backgrounds. She also provided individual counseling and DBT groups to high school students at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School and worked as a behavioral therapist with elementary school students experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges. Earlier in her career, Jessie worked at McLean Hospital’s 3East DBT Partial Hospital Program, where she led and co-led DBT groups and provided individual skills coaching to adolescents experiencing significant emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Clinical Experience
Jessie works with clients experiencing anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, personality disorders, and other emotional and relational concerns. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as with couples and families. Her background in EMDR, DBT and residential eating-disorder treatment allows her to support clients in developing practical coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and creating meaningful and lasting change.
Jessie takes a holistic, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy. She works to understand each client within the context of their relationships, experiences, and broader lives, while helping clients develop greater insight and effective strategies for navigating challenges. Her therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In her work with couples she practices the Gottman Method.

Jessie strives to create a therapeutic environment grounded in empathy, openness, understanding, and nonjudgment. She works collaboratively with clients to identify their goals and develop the skills and insight needed to move toward the life and relationships they envision.
