​Clinical Psychology Doctoral Student at William James College

Natasha Meehan, MA is a current 4th year Clinical Psychology PsyD student at William James College. She also earned her Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William James College in 2023 with a concentration on Children and Families of Adversity and Resilience. Previously, she graduated from The University of Tampa in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

Training Background
      Natasha has an extensive background in working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings including schools and outpatient behavioral health programs. She has refined her skills at various Massachusetts agencies such as Boston Behavioral Medicine, The Lighthouse School, and Behavioral Health Works Inc.
      During her internship at Boston Behavioral Medicine in Brookline MA, Natasha provided individual treatment to adults, children, and families with a variety of medical and psychological conditions, utilizing specialty behavioral medicine techniques and interventions. Additionally, she closely coordinated with her patient’s medical and behavioral health treatment team members.
      While at Behavioral Health Works Inc in Boston MA, Natasha worked as an ABA Behavioral Therapist, providing one on one ABA techniques to patients diagnosed with Autism and related disorders. During her time here, Natasha implemented behavioral intervention plans, motivated patients, and provided them with opportunities to maximally function in society.
      During her internship at The Lighthouse School in Chelmsford MA, Natasha worked with a highly diverse population of children and adolescents struggling with a complex array of clinical issues. Working closely alongside students in the classroom, Natasha offered coping strategies and positive reinforcement to maintain a therapeutic learning environment while she worked in this program.

Clinical Experience
      Natasha Meehan’s clinical background has provided her extensive experience in working with child, adolescent, and adult clients with developmental challenges, mood disorders, and complex medical presentations, in addition to a range of externalizing behaviors. Her ability to work with clients who experience acute symptoms has allowed her to assess and treat patients in collaboration with her clients’ support systems. Her prior experience in individual, group, school, and family modalities allows her to holistically address her clients’ presenting issues across all of these treatment domains. For these reasons and many more, Natasha is a valuable team member in her work with a diverse mix of fellow clinicians at CCS and within the greater Boston mental health community.
