​Training Background
With over six years of clinical experience, Dr. Mowatt specializes in serving diverse communities, including adults, children, and families. Holding a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from William James College, Dr. Mowatt has honed his skills at well-known Boston agencies, such as Commonwealth Mental Health and Wellness Center, Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center, and the Brenner Center.
Dr. Mowatt draws from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy, allowing him to offer customized support to individuals from various cultural backgrounds.

Clinical Experience
Dr. Mowatt has worked extensively with parents, coaching them to facilitate positive changes in their neurodiverse children and have treated children with neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities.

For adults, he focuses on understanding and addressing depression and anxiety to enhance their overall well-being while providing support through a biopsychosocial model.
Dr. Mowatt's unwavering dedication lies in meeting the unique mental health needs of his patients, guiding them on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and fostering positive change.
