Training Background
Dr. Ross-Callahan has an extensive background in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She has worked in settings that have included inpatient, outpatient, hospitals, therapeutic school programs, and behavioral therapy clinics. She has enhanced her understanding of her clients’ needs at various agencies across the country including the California Department of State Hospitals, McLean Hospital, and Berkley’s Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Clinic.

While at the California Department of State Hospitals, Dr. Ross-Callahan frequently collaborated with multidisciplinary treatment teams to facilitate high-quality, collaborative care for her patients. She connected with patients residing in their inpatient units, leading group therapy, and completing risk assessments has made her a well-versed clinician, able to adapt to all her clients’ needs. During her time at McLean Hospital, Dr. Ross-Callahan applied her skills in many roles throughout the hospital by providing care to patients across the age spectrum. Her treatment modalities included leading therapeutic adolescent therapy groups, providing family therapy, and assessing patient safety on the unit. Her time at the Berkley Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Clinic has provided her with the necessary experience to holistically address clients who struggled with anxiety disorders, depression, personality disorders, and complex trauma who required support and coordination of their outpatient team.
