Krystal Gottilla, PsyD

Dr. Gottilla is a Post-Doctoral Intern who graduated from William James College, where she received her Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology. She attended Adelphi University where she received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in General Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies.

Training Background
Dr. Gottilla has an extensive background in working with children, adolescents and young adults, outpatient clinical settings, and K-12 school placements. Dr. Gottilla specializes in treating patients with trauma histories who require support and coordination of their outpatient team. She has honed her skills at various well-known Boston agencies. While at the Home for Little Wanderer’s Child & Family Counseling Center, she provided individual therapeutic services and administered psychological assessments to children and adolescents. While training at Wediko Children’s Services program, she worked with children and adolescents in individual modalities at a therapeutic school, collaborating with guidance counselors and providing therapeutic support such as impromptu sessions as necessary.
While at North East Health Services in Brockton and Woburn, MA, Dr. Gottilla worked with clients throughout the lifespan, completing in-depth psychological reports and collaborating with parents/guardians, DCF workers, schools, doctors, and prescribers regarding client care.

Clinical Experience
​Dr. Gottilla’s clinical background has provided her extensive experience in working with trauma-based patients who struggle with depression, anxiety, and a range of externalizing behaviors. Dr. Gottilla’s systems-based work with families and outpatient treatment teams coordinates various treaters into supporting her students and helping facilitate a holistic understanding of her student’s combined learning and behavioral challenges. She utilizes her prior experience doing individual, group, and family-centered treatment to help address the complex needs of her patients at CCS. Her work with child and adolescent populations has given her the ability to address learning concerns that surface with these populations and has made her a valuable team member collaborating with fellow clinicians at CCS on a range of clinical cases.
