Post-Doctoral Fellow
Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Heather Corazzini is a Post-doctoral Fellow and Licensed Psychologist.  She graduated from Williams James College, where she received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD). Dr. Corazzini also received a Masters of Arts (MA) degree from William James College in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in Family and Couples Therapy, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from Emerson College. She is currently completing a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Copernican Clinical Services.

Dr. Corazzini completed her Pre-Doctoral training at the Children’s Intervention Program (ChIP) at Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., through William James' APA-Accredited Internship Consortium Program. While at ChIP, Dr. Corazzini provided comprehensive, family-centered, and community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and families. In addition to working with children and adolescents with a variety of symptom profiles, she trained with Riverbend’s adolescent Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) program. DBT is an evidence-based practice and effective treatment for people who have difficulty controlling their emotions and behaviors and is useful in treating self-harm behaviors, eating disorders, and substance use disorders amongst other diagnoses and mental health problems. As a member of the DBT team, Dr. Corazzini co-led several multifamily DBT skills groups with adolescents and their parents on each of the DBT modules: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance.

Dr. Corazzini first joined CCS in 2018 as an advanced practicum student in her third year of her doctoral training, and worked in both the Anger Management and College Transition programs. She also trained at Fecteau-Leary Junior/Senior High School in Lynn, where she worked with racially and ethnically diverse individuals with extensive trauma histories, major mental illness, and issues related to truancy and anger management. Dr. Corazzini's clinical training experience included a placement at  Walden Behavioral Care, where she treated patients with eating disorders who struggled with co-morbid mental health issues. Additionally, her training has provided her with a depth of experience in treating patients with severe psychiatric presentations in combination with co-morbid substance use disorders at Arbour Hospital's Partial Hospitalization Program.
